How to activate your Vumatel Fibre connection
Once your line has been installed, you are only one step away from enjoying pure Internet joy. Activation needs to be done on your end.
Connect your hardware
You have to connect your Fibre-ready Wi-Fi router to the CPE using an Ethernet cable. The cable has to be connected on LAN1 of Vuma’s RAYCORE CPE and the INTERNET port on the Afrihost-supplied. If using your own Wi-Fi router, the port may be labelled WAN if not INTERNET.
Locate your Object / VT number on the Vumatel shop front
Once your physical connection is ready, try going to any website on your Internet browser. You will be redirected to shop.vumatel.co.za as shown on the image below. You can also go directly to the address.

Enter your Object / VT number in ClientZone
Once you have your Object / VT number, copy it and head over to ClientZone:
- Log into ClientZone.
- Click on the ‘Connectivity’ tab.
- Select your Vumatel Fibre package.
- Paste the Object / VT number in the ‘Object Number’ field.
- Click on ‘Submit Object Number’ to confirm.
Give it at least an hour then you will be good to go.
