Pro-rata explained
The pro-rata is the discount applied to your billing and/or data allocation relating to the day of the month that you sign up for a package.
For example, let’s say you sign up for a 200GB package for R478.00pm in the middle of the month.
If you sign up for this package on the 14th of the month and there are 30 days in the month, we divided the full price by 30 days.
R478.00 / 30 days = R15.93 per day.
R15.93 x 16 remaining days = pro-rata cost of R245.88 approx.
You will also receive the pro-rata data allocation of your 200GB monthly data.
200GB / 30 days = 6.66GB per day.
6.66GB x 16 remaining days = pro-rata data allocation of 106.56GB approx.
