How to update your email password in CWP

To protect your sensitive and important information, we strongly advise updating your password regularly. This is especially crucial for accounts with access to confidential data. Consider making it a habit to change your email password periodically, to reduce the risk of a security breach and potential complications.

You can update your password in CWP through two convenient channels:
1. ClientZone.
2. Webmail.

• Log into ClientZone.

• Click on the ‘Hosting’ tab.

• Select the domain from the product list on the right-hand side.
  

• Click on the ‘Manage Email’ button.

Centos CWP Panel Website Manager will load.

• Select ‘Email Accounts’ from the menu on the left or scroll down to the ‘Email Accounts’ section.

• Select the green ‘Key’ Icon to change the password

• A window will pop up, enter your new password and select ‘Save changes’.

Your email password is now updated in CWP.

If you're unable to access CWP via ClientZone, you can still update your email password through webmail. Navigate to webmail.yourdomain (replacing 'yourdomain' with your actual domain name, e.g., webmail.example.co.za). Please note that this method only allows you to update your email password, and you'll need to enter your current password to make the change.

• Open your Internet browser and navigate to webmail.yourdomain
• A webmail login screen will load.
• Enter your email address and current password and select 'Login'.

• Once logged in, select the settings gear icon at the bottom of the left menu.

• Select 'Password' on the right-hand side.

• Enter your current password.
• Enter a new password and confirm it below.
• Select 'Save' to save the new password.

• Your email password is now updated in CWP.
