What is a subdomain

A subdomain is an extension of your domain name. They are treated as separate sites from the main domain site. They will have their own FTP account details.

So for example, Our domain name is afrihost.com, our web address is www.afrihost.com and a subdomain of ours is support.afrihost.com.
