Delivery and costs

Deliveries take place during business hours on weekdays. Weekends and public holidays are excluded from all time calculations.

Non-RICA Deliveries

• Usually 1–3 working days from payment clearance and verification.
• Delivery can take up to 5 working days if there are delays or the area is remote/outlying.
• It may be faster if all requirements (payment cleared, stock available) are met promptly.

RICA Deliveries (SIM cards)

• 3 - 5 working days from payment clearance and after RICA documents are uploaded correctly.
• Timeframes apply only if there are no delays in the RICA verification process.
• Remote/outlying areas can take longer for delivery.

Delivery of hardware and other items is subject to verification of your payment details, and payment must clear before goods can be dispatched.

Fibre routers will only be sent once the relevant fibre provider has confirmed that the service order has been accepted and installation has been scheduled.

Online orders paid by credit card clear immediately, while debit orders may take up to 5 working days to clear. Once payment has cleared, the warehouse will pack and ship your order.

Non-RICA deliveries are provided as a door-to-door service. The courier will attempt to hand the package directly to the intended recipient but will deliver to the specified address if the recipient is unavailable. Delivery updates and courier contact will be sent via SMS.

If you are expecting a SIM card with your delivery, then RICA of the SIM card is required, this can be done via ClientZone with eRICA

eRICA means you are no longer required to supply physical RICA documents to the courier upon delivery. Once your order is placed, and it requires to be RICA’d, you will be prompted to upload your RICA documents via ClientZone or the Afrihost Mobile App. You can manage your RICA information in ClientZone.

Delivery typically takes 3 to 5 working days from the time payment has cleared. This period can be significantly shorter if all payment requirements are met promptly.

Please note that delivery timeframes may be longer for remote or outlying areas.

All delivery times stated exclude any additional delays caused by payment clearance.

• Standard delivery fee is R249.
• A RICA delivery fee of R249 will apply to SIM card orders where the cart value or 12-month value of the transaction is less than R1000.
• A delivery fee of R249 on all Fibre router deliveries will be charged unless a promotional discount applies.
• Express 3-hour deliveries are at a fee of R299. Orders must be placed before 11 am.
• AirMobile standard delivery fee is R29.
• AirMoblie deliveries that are R900 or more qualify for free delivery. 

Visa/Mastercard payments are verified immediately, while a delay of up to 5 working days can be expected with Debit Orders for verification and clearing of funds (depending on the bank payment is made from).
