How long does it take to activate the LTE services after delivery?
Telkom wireless
Your Telkom LTE SIM card should be active 24 - 48 hours after delivery. Please ensure that the SIM card is inserted into a router and turned on.
Vodacom wireless
Your Vodacom SIM card should be active 24 - 48 hours after delivery. Please ensure that the SIM card is inserted into a router and turned on.
Pure wireless (MTN)
Your Pure LTE SIM card can take up to 24 hours to activate after delivery. Please ensure that the SIM card is inserted into a router and turned on.
Should you have trouble connecting after receiving confirmation of activation, please reboot your device and try to connect again. Please contact our Support team if you do not have a connection after 48 hours.
If you’re using Afrihost with another LTE network, make sure your device is set up with the correct APN settings:
Telkom wireless: afrihost
Pure wireless (MTN): ws.afrihost.fwa
Vodacom wireless: afrihost
